About morse24
morse24 is a free set of Morse code tools that works in every language. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type, record or upload leaves your device.
How the tables are checked
Every Morse table on the site was parsed directly from its published source and compared with a second, independent source wherever one exists. When sources disagree, the letter is left out rather than guessed, and the page for that alphabet explains why. The full list of sources is on the sources page.
How the decoders were tested
The audio decoder was tested on generated Morse audio with added background noise: 12 messages sent at 5 to 40 words per minute, including Farnsworth spacing, 8 runs each. It decoded all 96 exactly. The image decoder reads the site's own card and line images, including blurred, shrunk photos of them. Real-world recordings are harder than test audio: a clean, steady tone works best.
How the tools work
The translator, the audio and image decoders, the flashlight and the learning tools all run as code in your browser. The microphone and camera are only used while you have them switched on, and the audio is never recorded or sent anywhere.
