Pitch: -Speed: -

Play a Morse tone near the microphone, or open a recording. The decoder finds the pitch and the speed by itself and works best on a clean tone between 300 and 1500 Hz. An image works when the dots and dashes are solid shapes on a plain background, like a screenshot or a printed card. Nothing is uploaded: everything is processed on your device.

How it works

Most letters take the code of a Latin letter with a similar sound. Է shares the code of Ե, and Օ shares the code of Ո. The pair ՈՒ (the sound u) has its own code, ··−, like the Latin U.

One source

The table comes from Armenian Wikipedia, which cites a 1929 Armenian book on the telegraph, telephone and radio. We found no second source to check it against, so the translator says so when you use it.

Tables checked against their published sources on 25 September 2026.
