Morse Code Necklace Maker

Pause for a letter gap, pause longer for a word gap. On a computer the space bar works too. Timing follows the speed in Settings.
Decode Morse from sound or a picture
Play a Morse tone near the microphone, or open a recording. The decoder finds the pitch and the speed by itself and works best on a clean tone between 300 and 1500 Hz. An image works when the dots and dashes are solid shapes on a plain background, like a screenshot or a printed card. Nothing is uploaded: everything is processed on your device.
Set overall speed lower than letter speed for Farnsworth timing: letters stay quick, the gaps get longer. This is how most people learn.

Sent as one signal with no gap between the letters. Type them in angle brackets, like <SK>.
Two ways to make one
- Beaded: press Bracelet pattern in the Save panel. It gives the bead order, with one bead type for dots, one for dashes and a spacer between letters, and counts how many of each you need. The same pattern works on a necklace cord; add plain beads on each side to reach the length you want.
- Engraved or printed: press Line in the Save panel for a clean row of dots and dashes as an image, ready for a bar pendant, a tag or a laser engraver.
Make it readable
The meaning is in the gaps. Leave a clear space between letters and a wider one between words, or the code cannot be read back. Keep it short: a name, initials or one word fits a pendant; a date works well in numbers, which are all five signals long.
Check before you order
If you are buying a necklace, type the dots and dashes from the product photo into the translator above to check they spell what you asked for. Mistakes in custom Morse jewelry are easy to make and hard to spot.
